When I was a child, I got lost in the woods and, remembering the advice of my father, I stopped and sat down, staying in place so I could be located. While I waited, I found a companion in a chipmunk, who stayed by my side until my father found me. After that, I have been fascinated by wildlife. Navigating society's disdain for art as a career, I ended up in the medical field, but I never gave up my passion. It is my hope that my work shows a bit of an animal's personality or the beauty nature produces, and that my techniques intrigue the eye.
